Booking Charges Filed Charges
Lake County court records after an arrest usually begin with a charging document. The jail roster can show what the arresting agency booked. The court record shows what the prosecutor filed. Juvenile records, sealed records, confidential records, protected victim information, medical details, and active investigative information may be withheld. Penal Code section 851.91 provides a process for sealing certain arrest records when an arrest did not result in conviction, subject to eligibility and court procedure.

Restricted Lake County Records
The Superior Court portal says it excludes confidential and sealed records and that portal data is not the official record. California CPRA also allows withholding for juvenile, safety, privacy, investigative, and other protected material.
